Terms & Conditions

Payment

You will be asked to provide a credit card (or debit card) at the time of the booking to secure your reservation. A deposit or full payment is required in advance; by booking you are authorising the debiting of the card provided and agreeing to these terms and conditions.

We accept the following methods of payment: Cash, Mastercard, Visa Card (credit & debit) & American Express. We do not accept Diners Card for payment. The Inn does not accept personal or company cheques for payment. The Guest must pay all outstanding charges on departure from the Inn unless previously agreed credit terms have been authorised.

VAT

All charges quoted for the provision of the services are inclusive of any Value Added Tax at the applicable rate at the tax point unless otherwise stated. Therefore any alteration between Taxes at point of booking to provision of service will be charged appropriately.

Bookings

Pub restaurant reservations can be made by phone +44 (0)1647 440375 or an email enquiry can be made via the website. Please note the website enquiry is purely an enquiry and does not guarantee a table booking. Please await a response from us (either by telephone or email) to confirm your booking.

Payment for all bookings must be made at the time of booking in full or on receipt of an invoice.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs.

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before leaving. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Our Right To Cancel/Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached. We may also cancel your reservation if an event outside of our control (including industrial action, explosion, fire, flooding, and failure of power and/or water supplies or emergency evacuation) means that we are unable to open. In this case we will contact you to let you know as soon as possible.

Bookings can be cancelled upto 48hrs in advance with just a £30 admin/cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled after this time will receive a 50% refund plus £30 admin/cancellation fee.

Check-in & Check-out

Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10:30am.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available to purchase on our website. All our gift vouchers feature a unique voucher number, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable.

The gift voucher must be presented upon arrival when redeeming the voucher. No photocopies will be accepted. Advance bookings may be necessary. Cancellation of a booking with less than 72 hours before the day of arrival will render the voucher null and void.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Dogs

We welcome dogs in all our bedrooms and in some restaurant areas. We ask that dogs are kept on leads in public areas and that dog owners are mindful of where they position their dogs, so that there is free access for waiting staff to access other tables and dogs must not disturb other dinners.

Parking

You my park in the pub drive in order to load and unload your luggage for your stay, after which cars should be parked on the Green or in the Village car park opposite the church.

Guest Feedback

In the unlikely event that you have an issue during your stay we advise you to bring it to the attention of the hotel management at the time to enable us the opportunity to rectify the problem during your stay.
